History, Mission, and Goals
Since 1971, Cancer Family Care has become known as the heart of cancer support in Greater Cincinnati. Our counseling programs and services have been instrumental in providing information, education, hope, and comfort to community members dealing with cancer. We have a beneficial impact on more than 4,000 people each year.
Our mission is to strengthen the well-being and alleviate the suffering of children, adults, and families coping with cancer.
Our goals are:
- To help individuals improve management of cancer-related stress or the death of a loved one
- To help individuals get back to work and resume their normal lives more quickly
- To make individuals and families feel supported
- To help individuals work toward staying mentally and emotionally healthy
